Terms

These are the terms of Forschungszulage Evidence. Asking for an assessment call commits you to nothing; they apply once you accept them in your account to engage us.

  1. What we do. Forschungszulage Evidence prepares, from what you tell us and the exports you upload, a draft in German of the project description the BSFZ application form asks for: title, goal, state of the art, work, risks and work plan, with the person-months and the evidence from your commits and tickets. A person on our side checks every German text against your own words before you see it.
  2. What we do not do. We do not submit anything for you, and we never ask for your ELSTER certificate. We do not give tax advice: what counts as an eligible cost, the claim at the tax office and its figures are for your Steuerberater. We cannot promise that the BSFZ will certify a project or what the tax office will set; nobody can.
  3. Your part. You give us true information about your projects, people and costs, read every German text before you use it, submit the BSFZ application yourself through your own BSFZ portal account, and name us as the paid external adviser where the form asks. You alone are responsible for what you submit.
  4. Price. Nothing until the BSFZ issues a certificate, and nothing at all if it refuses every project in the application. When the certificate is issued: €1,500. When the tax office sets the allowance in its Forschungszulagenbescheid: 10% of the amount it sets, for the years and projects covered by our draft. We invoice each part when it falls due; payment within 14 days of the invoice. No VAT statement is made here until our VAT position is settled.
  5. Tell us what happens. You tell us within 14 days when the BSFZ decides and when the tax office sets the allowance, and show us the decision if we ask.
  6. Your data. Uploaded exports are deleted 30 days after upload; the intake, the drafts and this engagement stay until you delete your account, which you can do at any time in settings. A fee that has fallen due remains due after a deletion.
  7. Ending it. You can end the engagement at any time before the certificate by writing to us or deleting your account, at no cost.
